Delivery & Shipping
For non account holders and small use customers where orders are for less than £100, we recommend that items are purchased through our retail website, Techsil Online. We offer competitive prices on products and shipping to purchase this way, however, if you require large volumes for industrial use, please see the Business Customer section below.
Our Delivery Service is provided by our parcel carrier partner TNT. These are the standard charges for parcels shipped from Techsil Online.
Large or heavy volumes may require shipping on a pallet. If this is the case we will contact you to confirm any pallet charges prior to completing your order.
Please note that some of our products are classified as hazardous for road transport in the UK and may require special delivery requirements that we will advise you of before shipment.
Standard delivery for in stock items is 24 hours. (The order must be placed online before 3.00pm GMT to guarantee delivery.) If you are ordering goods that are on a lead time then please add this to the 72 hours. Please note our carrier delivers on usual working days (Monday to Friday).
Wherever possible we try to ship from stock and orders are processed on the day they are placed on-line. Some products are ordered in to fulfill customer orders. In these instances there will be a lead time from the manufacturer of the product.
We normally advise that delivery should be within 28 working days of your order being placed. In some rare instances delivery may take longer especially for special order products manufactured in the USA or Japan, delivery can take between 8 to 12 weeks.

Because many of the materials we supply are classed as hazardous, we are unable to send them in the post.

It is very rare for goods to go missing. On the odd occasion when this happens we make every effort to have the goods re-delivered. If they get lost we will supply replacement goods. Please contact us on 01789 774244 or [email protected]
On receipt of the goods complete our Delivery Discrepancy form and fax it back to us within 24 hours of receipt. A member of our team will contact you to discuss arrangements for the return of goods. Please read through the section on returns on the above form for full details.
If you are a business customer likely to order frequently and in large volumes please contact Techsil for a trade account (credit account facility). This will enable you to order direct from the Techsil office and benefit from additional advantages such as price breaks. Please note that new trade accounts are subject to a minimum order value of £500. Download an Account Application form.
Account Customers can order direct through the Techsil office by phone, email or fax. Most of our goods ordered direct through our office are delivered next day.
Same day delivery options are available and you should contact our sales administration team [email protected] to discuss pricing. Alternatively, you may wish to collect your order using your own courier from our premises in Warwickshire, UK.
For many of our large accounts, we offer a stock management solution based on annual demand forecasts. This allows you to guarantee sustained supply over long periods whilst keeping minimum stock levels at your own premises.
Given that some of our materials can take from 12 to 20 weeks to arrive with us from order we also have a large number of customers who place forward or call-off orders for 6 to 12 months ahead of time which ensures that their production needs are met.
