Epoxy

Epoxy resins are tough, chemically resistant, rigid materials that cure at room temperature (often cure time can be accelerated with heat).

Epoxy grades are the adhesive choice where high strength is required, especially at elevated temperature and in harsh environments. Classed as reactive polymers, epoxy resins are made up of two or more parts which react when they are cross-linked. Epoxies offer an excellent solution for a wide range of structural and non-structural bonding applications. Examples of typical uses include metal coating and the bonding of electrical components such as LEDs and high tension electrical insulators along with potting and encapsulation.

Epoxy Brands

Techsil markets a comprehensive range of epoxy systems from brands such as MG Chemicals, ITW Devcon, ThreeBond, Panacol (including Structalit® , Elecolit® & Vitralit®) and Araldite® along with Techsil branded grades.
