Liquid Pigments

Techsil’s Liquid Pigments are used for adding colour to silicone and polyurethane materials.

Liquid pigments are used for adding colours to material systems such as silicones, polyurethanes and other resins. They are highly concentred so just a drop of pigments goes a long way, making them a very economical product to use.

Liquid Pigments Brands

Alongside offering an own brand of liquid pigments suitable for polyurethanes and silicones; Techsil also offers the complete range of BJB Liquid Polyurethanes designed for use with their fast, medium and long casting resin systems.

Key Characteristics of Techsil Liquid Pigments

•    Superb colour density
•    Non-leaching
•    Easy to mix
•    Wide range of colours
•    Little or no effect on physical properties such as elongation and tensile values

Product Information

For silicones the recommended mix ratio is between 0.1% and 10% by weight, depending on the opacity you would like to achieve.

Polyurethanes are recommended for an addition of up to 5% by weight.

For both systems, % addition is a sliding scale, based on the opacity/solid colour you would like to achieve. Further details on application method and mix ratios can be found on the individual products technical data sheets.
