3M™ Scotch™ 1617 is a zinc dust corrosion protection primer. It's a quick drying primer for metal parts and results in a smooth non-porous primer layer ready to be painted.
The 1617 spray has good conductivity meaning it can also be used as a spot welding paint. It adheres well to iron and steel and is resistant to heat up to 500°C
