I have worked for TECHSiL nearly 16 years starting in Customer service, delivering the best service possible and creating great relationships with long standing and new customers alike. I changed into my new role in external sales over two years ago. This move gave me the chance to combine my ability to connect with customers daily, not just over the phone, but face to face. I really enjoy being on the road and getting to see customers onsite to find out, in detail, about their bonding, potting and sealing applications during production. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We have various optically clear silicones for bonding and potting displays one of which is TECHSiL RTV27844, other options for optical bonding displays include the UV adhesive range Hoenle.
In vibration prone applications, silicone or PU is better for potting as epoxy is a lot harder/rigid, providing very little give, making epoxy better for more static and rigid applications.
The 3M VHB 5952 Tape family is a great option as it offers good adhesion to many painted surfaces, including powder coated paint.
Depending on the application, we have a range of silicone gels for potting sensors, along with a range of room temperature vulcanizing silicones that are non corrosive and reactive in sensitive gasketing applications.
At TECHSiL, we offer on-site visits to discuss and gain a better understanding of your applications and process, then we can arrange samples for R&D, pre-production, and production trials
