Momentive SILTRUST™ RTV566XB Low Outgassing Adhesive

Momentive SILTRUST™ RTV566XB is an adhesive which provides low outgassing characteristics in a high vacuum environment. This silicone elastomer consists of two parts, the base compound and curing agents. Curing occurs when these parts are mixed at a 10:1 ratio.

This silicone rubber compound cures at room temperature and exhibits similar end properties to SILTRUST™ RTV566 with a more user-friendly mix ratio. RTV566XB has a wide useful temperature range of -115°C to 260°C continuously, and up to 315°C for short periods of time.

RTV566-XB can meet levels of outgassing listed in ASTM E595.
