Tecbond 902B-PL is a biodegradable pressure sensitive hotmelt adhesive designed for difficult applications requiring a ‘permanent’ open time.
This biodegradable adhesive has a very high level of tack and is formulated from 51% bio-based materials. Its low viscosity makes it ideal for spray application and its good heat resistance allows for use in warmer conditions without risk of adhesive creep.
Tecbond 902B-PL is a component in products such as crash helmets, protective clothing and flight-cases as well as jiffy bag sealers. Other applications include carton closing, packaging inserts, point of sale, and tray assembly.
The Tecbond biodegradable adhesives are an eco-conscious alternative to traditional packaging adhesives, breaking down to leave no harmful effects on the environment. They are fast setting, suitable for a wide range of packaging materials and start breaking down on exposure to oxygen, UV heat, and light.
This adhesive should be kept away from direct sunlight when not in use.
